Black Friday 2007 vs 2008. But how about 2009?
It seems last year’s crisis affected the sales period and especially Black Friday. I base this on the following screens.

3. Cyber Monday 2007 vs 2008
So, as you can see, overall volume for sales dropped last year by quite a bit (the first picture). Black Friday was down to, somewhere between 2006 and 2007. The only search term rising was Cyber Monday, the day when people get lots of good discounts for online sales. But, as you can see in the picture below, Cyber Monday is small when comparing with Black Friday.
